VPSByte has a new state of the art, custom built datacenter opened in Portland, Oregon. We house our own equipment in our own facilities. This makes for cheaper, more reliable, better monitored service. Owning our own facilities allows us to keep track of the downtime much more efficiently and find out the true cause of it. We can trace downtime back to whatever caused it and be sure it is fixed indefinitely, where as other companies might have had to make a request, wait for approval, and go through a lengthy process when - for example - a A/C unit is aging/dying. We believe preventative maintenance will save time, frustration, and money.
